I thought I had a sure thing for financial independence.
I was going to start up a company to manufacture white flags. I have a feeling there will ge a great demand since we will be waving them all over the world. I just couldn't see enough money to make a profit after all the "redistribution"

No, I knew a lot about it. Learned some about it in HS and is a hot topic in my US History class in college. Just when it was mentioned by duckmeat and spuds and I saw others that thought it was a good thing is when I started pushing it lol. But I will admit I learned a lot more about it when I did more research, made me dislike it even more.

The public isn't supposed to have access to Marijuana, everyone I know that wants to torch up has no problem doing so....

Why do you think guns will be any different if they make them illegal?

Its a different case with guns, because there are a lot of lives at risk. You make a really good point though. Will they be able to keep every gun like that off the street? Impossible, but no doubt its a step in the right direction.

Re: And why should the public have access to these again?

the "alot of lives at risk" part

thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard

would you say that more lives are at risk from people drinking and driving than they are from people who choose to own a gun?

lets ban drinking.......hell while were at it......lets just ban cars because of the number of accident related deaths every year

what else do you want to ban?

Re: And why should the public have access to these again?

The abolition of guns is FAR from the right direction. I personally don't see the need in an AK or an uzi, but rifles and hand guns are OK provided the owner be a law abiding citizens who went through checks to acquire the gun. Guns are needed...but common sense in who they are sold to is needed as well.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....

Re: And why should the public have access to these again?

oh and btw most of the time a gun is used in a crime or a murder......those guns are very often not owned legally

which brings us back to the concept of people will still get them if they want them

like most of your arguments......this one is also asinine
